Dear Art lovers,

It is our great pleasure to present the exhibitions of Željko and Zlatan FILIPOVIĆ, artists of different
generations, father and son.

With their artwork and pedagogic activity these two artists bring us fresh and new approach in use of digital media.

On this occasion they prepared
two bodies of work created
independently of each other.

Željko presents works realized in the process of finalizing his MFA in domain of digital printmaking in the atelier of professor Dževad HOZO.

Zlatan “brings” works created during his one year long engagement at the American University of Sharjah in UAE.

Both bodies of work emerged from completely digital environments.
Željko is focused on the time of Sarajevo under the siege and literary work by Marko VEŠOVIĆ created in that period. Zlatan in his recognizable way presents time and space of a distant world. It is a contemplation of similarities and differences of time he experienced in UAE presented in 13 digital prints of photo-realistic quality and 3 video works.

For both of them this is a quite intimate process of transposing sensations into visual expression in digital and non-material world.

We hope that you will join us on the opening on Wednesday, December 13, at 6pm (Academy of Fine Arts – Zlatan) and 7pm (National Gallery of BiH - Željko).
